Premium Steel Pipe Crosses (Straight & Reducing)

A pipe cross is a four-way pipe fitting with one inlet and three outlets, or three inlets and one outlet, used to distribute or combine fluid flow in complex piping systems. Manufactured to endure high structural stress, our steel pipe crosses are available in both Equal (Straight) and Reducing configurations.

  • Types Available: Straight Cross (Equal) & Reducing Cross.

  • Size Range: Seamless (1/2″ to 24″) | ERW / Welded (1/2″ to 48″).

  • Wall Thickness: 3mm to 40mm (SCH5 to XXS).

  • Materials: Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel, and Alloy Steel.

  • Standards: ASME B16.9, MSS SP-75, DIN 2615, JIS B2311/B2312, GB/T 12459.

  • Applications: Petroleum, chemical processing, power plants, gas lines, metallurgy, shipbuilding, and construction.

Description

1. Product Overview

A Pipe Cross is a specialized pipe fitting featuring four openings—either one inlet and three outlets, or three inlets and one outlet. Due to their four-way connection point, pipe crosses can experience high stress concentrations when temperature changes occur. For this reason, they are manufactured with exceptional structural integrity to ensure safe and reliable fluid distribution in complex piping networks.

Straight Cross (Equal Cross)

A straight cross has four branches of the same diameter. It is utilized in systems where the branch flows require the same pipe size as the main run, allowing for equal distribution in all directions.

Reducing Cross

A reducing cross has branch outlets that are smaller in diameter than the main run outlets. This is used when the system needs to combine different pipe sizes while branching the fluid flow.
