Premium Steel Pipe Sheet Pile for Heavy-Duty Foundations
Steel Pipe Sheet Piles combine the exceptional bending strength of tubular steel pipes with the water-tight interlocking capabilities of traditional sheet piles. They are specifically engineered to bear massive vertical loads and retain high lateral pressures, making them the ultimate solution for demanding civil engineering, port construction, and marine infrastructure projects.

Description
1. Product Overview & Application
Steel Pipe Sheet Piles consist of standard steel pipes (usually Spiral Submerged Arc Welded – SSAW, or Longitudinal Submerged Arc Welded – LSAW) fitted with interlocking connectors welded along their longitudinal axis. These connectors allow adjacent pipes to interlock seamlessly, forming a continuous, watertight, and highly rigid retaining wall.
Compared to traditional U-type or Z-type sheet piles, pipe sheet piles offer vastly superior section modulus and bending stiffness. This enables them to withstand extreme vertical and horizontal loads with minimal deformation.
Primary Applications:
- Marine & Port Construction: Breakwaters, wharves, jetties, and dock walls.
- Civil Engineering: Temporary or permanent cofferdams, deep excavation support, and earth retaining walls.
- Infrastructure: River embankments, bridge foundations, and underground tunnel supports.
2. Standards & Material Grades
Our Steel Pipe Sheet Piles are manufactured under strict international standards to guarantee structural reliability and superior load-bearing capacity.

Note: Customized sizes and specific interlocking junction types (such as P-T, P-P type) can be manufactured upon request.
4. Manufacturing Process & Interlocking System
Our pipe sheet piles are fabricated using premium SSAW or LSAW base pipes. Precise interlocking connectors (male and female joints) are continuously welded to the outer surface of the pipe along its entire length. This requires high-precision alignment and advanced welding techniques to ensure flawless engagement during pile driving.
Base Pipe Fabrication (SSAW/LSAW) → Pipe Inspection → Interlock Profile Welding → Slag Removal → Ultrasonic Testing (UT) → Hydrostatic Testing (Base Pipe) → Visual & Dimensional Inspection → Anti-Corrosion Coating (if required) → Packing & Delivery.

5. Anti-Corrosion Treatment
Due to their primary use in marine and subterranean environments, steel pipe sheet piles often require heavy-duty anti-corrosion protection. We offer specialized surface treatments including:
- Heavy-duty Epoxy Coal Tar coating.
- Polyurethane and Glass Flake coatings.
- Hot-dip galvanizing.
- Specialized marine zone protective painting (Splash zone coatings).
