Description
1. Product Overview & Applications
A Stainless Welded Pipe is formed by rolling a flat steel plate and welding the seam. Welded stainless steel pipes are generally more cost-effective than seamless pipes. Due to their excellent corrosion resistance and structural versatility, they are widely adopted across various industries.
Primary Applications: Petroleum, chemical industry, chemical fiber, smelting, medical machinery, paper making, heat preservation and refrigeration, mechanical equipment, food processing, electricity, water conservancy, architecture, aerospace, navigation, seabed exploration, environmental protection, boiler heat exchangers, and seawater applications.

5. Manufacturing Process
Our stainless welded pipes are manufactured using various advanced techniques depending on the diameter and application requirements. Common welding methods include Electric Resistance Welding (ERW), Electric Fusion Welding (EFW), and Submerged Arc Welding (LSAW/SSAW).
Raw Material Coil/Plate → Uncoiling/Leveling → Edge Milling → Forming → Welding → Sizing → Annealing → Straightening → Cutting → End Facing → Hydrostatic Testing → Pickling & Passivation → Non-Destructive Testing (X-ray/UT) → Final Inspection → Marking → Packaging & Delivery.
6. Packing & Delivery
We ensure that our stainless welded pipes are packed securely to prevent any damage during transportation, particularly for sea freight. Packing methods include:
- Plastic caps on both ends of the pipes to protect the edges.
- Wrapped in waterproof plastic bags or film.
- Small diameter pipes are bundled with steel strips.
- Large diameter pipes are placed in custom-built seaworthy wooden crates or boxes.
