5. Inspection & Quality Control
Following API 5CT guidelines, our pup joints are subjected to comprehensive non-destructive testing (NDT) and performance checks:
- Hydrostatic Testing for leak detection.
- Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI).
- Ultrasonic Testing (UT) for wall thickness and integrity.
- Thread Inspection using API Master Gauges.
- Full traceability with color coding and marking on each piece.
6. Packing & Delivery
To ensure safe transport and prevent rust, all pup joints are coated with anti-corrosion oil and protected with plastic caps on both ends. They are securely packed in bundles or crates suitable for international sea freight.
