Description

1. Product Overview

ERW Pipe stands for Electric Resistance Welded pipe. It is characterized by excellent appearance, high dimensional accuracy, and exceptional structural strength, making it an ideal choice for both structural applications and fluid transmission.

HFW Pipe stands for High-Frequency Welded pipe. In the HFW manufacturing process, high-frequency current passes through a metal conductor and produces two peculiar effects: the skin effect and the proximity effect. These effects concentrate the high-frequency electric energy on the surface of the weldment. By utilizing this concentrated energy, the edge of the steel plate is heated rapidly to its melting point. It is then squeezed and pressed by extruder rollers to form a seamless, highly integrated weld.

2. Production Standards & Material Grades

Our ERW & HFW pipes comply with the most stringent international standards, ensuring reliable performance across diverse industries.

4. Manufacturing Process Flow

Our ERW and HFW pipes undergo a rigorous, multi-stage production and quality control process to guarantee zero defects and structural integrity. The continuous process involves:

HFW/ERW Process Flow:
Raw Material Uncoiling → Ultrasonic Testing (UT) → Leveling → Edge Milling → Forming → HFW Welding → Removing outside & inside bead → Ultrasonic Testing (UT) of Weld Seam → Intermediate frequency annealing → Air cooling → Water cooling → Sizing → Flying saw cutting → Hydrostatic testing → UT/MPI Inspection → Pipe end facing → Visual and dimension inspection → Weight and measuring → Marking → Coating → Packing.
High-quality welded steel pipe for construction and manufacturing needs. Durable, reliable, and comp.

5. Coating & Packaging

To ensure maximum longevity and prevent corrosion during storage and ocean transit, our pipes feature various protective treatments and packing methods:

  • Surface Coating: Bare, lightly oiled, black painting, red/yellow anti-corrosion varnish, or 3LPE/FBE coating as required.
  • End Finish: Plain ends (square cut) or Beveled ends, equipped with plastic caps or steel protectors.
  • Packing: Small diameters are bundled with strong steel strips. Larger diameters are shipped loose, with lifting slings and proper dunnage to prevent mechanical damage.
