High-Performance Dual Plate Check Valve
Qisheng’s High-Performance Dual Plate Check Valve features an advanced retainerless design that completely eliminates external leak paths. Significantly lighter and more compact than conventional swing or lift check valves, it utilizes a highly responsive spring-assisted closing mechanism. This ensures the valve closes as flow velocity approaches zero, providing simultaneous non-slam and no water hammer performance. Designed for extreme conditions with a minimum design temperature of -196°C, these valves fully comply with API 594, API 6D, and BS 6364 standards, making them the ideal choice for Oil & Gas, Refinery, Chemical, and LNG industries.
Description
Qisheng High-Performance Dual Plate Check Valve
The Qisheng Dual Plate Check Valve is engineered to handle the most demanding and complex pipeline environments. Significantly lighter and more compact than conventional swing or lift check valves, our dual plate design saves critical installation space. Featuring a highly responsive spring-assisted closing mechanism, the valve shuts rapidly as flow velocity approaches zero—well before flow reversal occurs. This ensures simultaneous No Water Hammer and Non-Slam performance. With a minimum design temperature of -196°C, it is an ideal solution for LNG and severe chemical applications.
Core Design Advantages
- Retainerless Design: The internal hinge pin design eliminates the need for retainer pins penetrating the valve body wall. This completely removes potential leak paths to the atmosphere, ensuring maximum safety and environmental compliance.
- Low Cracking Pressure: The optimized design of the discs and springs minimizes valve cracking pressure and reduces overall pressure drop. The minimum cracking pressure can be as low as 0.001Mpa, greatly improving system energy efficiency.
- Non-Slam & No Water Hammer: Spring-assisted closure ensures the valve seats smoothly and instantly before reverse flow can develop, protecting the piping system from destructive water hammer forces.
- Precision Seating Surface: The disc design is optimized to ensure the sealing surface is seated evenly. For metal-seated valves, the surfaces are precision ground and lapped to meet strict seat leakage requirements, even during low-pressure gas testing.
Engineering & Manufacturing Excellence
- Versatile Seating Options: Available with soft seats (vulcanized with NBR, EPDM, or VITON) and metal seats (hard-faced with CoCr alloy). Additional custom materials are available upon request to suit specific media.
- Advanced R&D and Testing: Our complete in-house testing lab is equipped with full-size liquid nitrogen pools, seat leakage flow meters, torque testing machines, and helium detectors to guarantee exceptional cryogenic and standard performance.
- In-House Foundry & Machining: Relying on our own foundry for quality castings and utilizing high-precision machining, we maintain strict quality control from raw material to final assembly.
Typical Applications
Suitable for installation in both horizontal and vertical (upward flow) pipelines, these valves are trusted across major industries:
- Primary Industries: Widely used in Oil & Gas, Refinery, Chemical, LNG, Power Generation, and Water Treatment industries.
- Media Compatibility: Safely and efficiently handles gases, liquids, steam, and highly corrosive services.
